The site was developed as a better means of offering TMPGEnc brand video software product information and updates to TMPG's Spanish speaking DVD and MPEG video authoring and editing customers.

Due to strong interest from Spain, the U.S. Hispanic market and other Spanish speaking countries, TMPG made the decision to invest in a new Spanish language site.

The consumer electronics market in Spain is growing with strong sales of DVD players/recorders, digital cameras and home cinema systems. Spanish consumers are becoming more sophisticated buyers and are demanding high quality digital products with advanced features. The rapid shift from analog to digital technology and the popularity of digital video products seem to be the main factors boosting sales.
