  • When the Pre-Commercial Candidates Detection completes, registers detected candidate positions as keyframes automatically without opening the Cut window.

Corrections Fixed: The "Add keyframes within the current selection only" option in the Advanced Keyframe Tool did not work correctly.
Fixed: when a very short length program (e.g. 1 sec or less) exists in a play list, the subsequent programs could not be imported in the TS title selection.

  • A part of the video in a MKV file which was created by a certain application became jittery.
  • Could not import a MKV which contained an ADTS type AAC audio.
Fixed: Occasionally could not display thumbnails in the TS Title Selection.
Fixed: Could not import chapter names when importing a keyframe file which includes chapter names.
Fixed: An application error occurred when replacing a source file with an unsupported file in the Clip Information Panel.
Fixed: Some noise occurred when playing the outputted AAC audio on devices which do not support the TNS compression algorithm.
Fixed: Occasionally the keyframes which exist outside of the selected ranges were removed or shifted when closing the Clip Edit window while in the Audio Filter Edit tab.

Each clip can be analyzed without opening the Cut window. It can be started by clicking the "Pre-Commercial Candidates Detection" menu (or CTRL+D). When it applies to multiple clips, the clips will then be analyzed continuously. For more details, please refer to the HELP file.

 Version 4.0.15.50 - February 28, 2013

New The Commercial Candidates Detector is now available (it can be assessed from the Cut-Editor's Edit Menu).
Supports Blu-ray (BDAV) output from GoPro HERO3 recording files.
*Does not apply to non-standard Blu-ray resolution footage (1280×960 for example)
Supports loading and applying the rotation flag of MP4/MKV containers, and also supports setting the flag in MP4 file output.
Supports the MP4/MKV rotation flag import and output.
*Upon outputting, it is available only for MP4(H.264/AVC) files.
The "Standard Decoder (High-Speed)" is now available for MPEG-4/AVC stream decoding and can be set in the MPEG Decoder Settings in the preferences.
*This decoder may have benefits in terms of speed or other attributes. However, depending on the system environment or source files, cut-editing or encoding may become unstable.
If problems arise, return the setting to the Standard Decoder and verify if this corrects the issue.
Improved Added the "Disable loading modules for CUDA setting at startup to reduce memory usage" option in the CUDA preferences.
*When you check this option, the CUDA functions will be disabled.
Added the "Decrease the number of threads to reduce memory usage" option in the multithread preferences.
*This option might improve program stability but might also cause decoding performance degradation.
Added the Keyframe/Clip split point move tool to the right-click menu in the keyframe list.
Improved to now copy the name of the clip to the file's "save as" dialog box when saving a keyframe list.
Added the "Use Same Source as Video" option to the settings of the audio source properties.
Improved to now display a stream ID of the audio source in the audio source properties.
Added the "Relative" option to the "Jump to Specific Time/Frame" tool. You can specify the Time/Frame to move relative to your current position by using this tool.
Improved the AAC analyzer output so it will not reset cut-edit ranges.
Improved to consider deeply from the parameters such as a duration in order to determine an audio output format.
Support for MP4 file (MPEG-2 Video stream) import.
*It is not possible to set an MP4 container when outputting such a stream and the rotation flag cannot be used.
