If you want to display pictures stacked one on top of the other, mix different audio with videos, or animate the video, you can do this with the Timeline mode.
Expand Your Video with Layer Editing.
You can add up to 32 layers containing video or audio. Following the timeline from left to right, freely position the clips and create original video. You can import a clip either by dragging and dropping directly into the timeline, or by using the Source Wizard. Furthermore, by disabling a layer's display in the timeline, it will also disable that layer's output, allowing you to output several variations of one project without having to modify its content.
Easily Resize & Rotate Video and Animate with Key Points.
Freely change the picture position and size, rotate it within the output video just by dragging the picture handles displayed in the preview. You can even set the opacity, or a fade-in/fade-out in the Property panel without even having to open another window. In addition, all of these picture transformations can be set through key points placed over the clip animation timeline, automatically creating an animation effect on the video. The key points are also useful for the volume timeline, allowing you to vary the audio level at different points in your video.
Apply Filter Layers to the Entire Video.
In addition to the Clip-level filters, you can add layer filters that are applied to the entire video. You can add up to 10 layers of "Subtitles", "Mask", "Color correction", and "Volume adjustment" filters. They are great for adding subtitles, masks, and more that span several videos.
Easily Create Transitions.
You can apply a video transition setting between two video clips just by overlapping one onto the other. You can then select the transition effect, or disable it, simply by double-clicking on the transition range or selecting the option in the contextual menu.
Create Gorgeous Titles with the Text Generator.
The Text generator function allows you to create text with shadows, blur, and other effects that the subtitles function cannot offer. You can even overlay a picture on the text, amplifying its impact. Plus, since the Text generator is just a clip on the timeline, you can animate it like any other clip through rotation and motion.
