H.264/AVC Advanced Settings
Output for streaming use For streaming playback, places the stream information in the file header instead of the trailer. Allows the player to start the playback while still downloading the data.
Data Container for Apple Portable Devices Possibility to set the Baseline Low-Complexity profile flag in the file header data. This data may be required by some of the Apple portable devices.
*Available only for MP4 container
Video Format Component / PAL / NTSC / SECAM / MAC / Unspecified
192 byte packets output Allows to set the packet size to 192 byte when outputting in MPEG-2 Transport Stream.
Encode sequence marker as I frame Possibility to encode an I frame at sequence marker position. (Only in x264 encoder)
Output sequence marker list Possibility to output flagged sequence markers as a timestamp list in an outputted file. The list file can be used as specific scenes to edit in some softwares or devices.
Advanced Encoder Options Contains the advanced settings for the H.264/AVC stream format.
(Only in x264 encoder)
Option to adjust stream structure for the standards Possibility to adjust the video stream to be compliant with Blu-ray Disc and AVCHD standards.
*It may not be possible to meet the standard even if this option is enabled. It is necessary to set other parameters to be compatible with the standard. Generally, we recommend to use the Blu-ray or AVCHD templates

Other Settings
Chapter Addition Possibility to output flagged sequence markers as navigational chapter entry points in the outputted file. These chapters can be used to jump to a specific scene of the video during the playback in some software or devices. This function is available only when MP4 or MKV containers are used.
Metadata Addition Possibility to add "Title", "Artist", "Copyright" and "Comment" metadata in an MP4, MKV or FLV container.
* Metadata viewing requires a compatible player.
* The comment inserting option cannot be used in an FLV container.
